Susan was a founding member of the Fund who willingly and cheerfully took on the position of Secretary\/Treasurer. She said she loved being part of the organization and was proud that the Fund was able to &#8220;help some deserving young people in honor of Reardon and George.&#8221; We are so grateful for her dedicated and loyal service, and friendship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her family requests friends and loved ones to please consider making contributions to the Fund, a non-profit charity Susan helped establish, which supports deserving students at the Wolf Center for Entrepreneurship, Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston\u2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Smith-Phares Memorial Scholarship Fund would like to add a special In Memoriam for a very special person, Susan Ingraham Ashley, who sadly passed away in May, 2017.
